Black... shocking.
ReplyDeleteCC is coming whether you like it or not.
CC ? ?
ReplyDelete5 ' 7 " 200 pounds :
ReplyDeleteHow could he out - waddle the victim ?
Another chunky monkey.
ReplyDeleteCC = Concealed Carry.
ReplyDeleteBefore the end of this year a criminal is going to be dead and the state is going to have to figure out what to do with the intended victim who shot him.
And then every single white person or other law abiding citizen walking around with a hand firmly in a coat pocket, purse or messenger bag becomes a less appetizing target to the animals. Cheers.
"Fat".
ReplyDeleteThe idea that will crime will disappear with the introduction of CC laws is fundamentally flawed. The gangbangers committing most of the random gun violence are largely targeting other gangbangers (who also presumably have guns). If a criminal with a gun is already targeting other criminals with guns, then how would law-abiding citizens with guns be any sort of deterrent?
ReplyDeleteWhen I was attacked by 3 young men on the Oak Park Green Line platform if I had a handgun in my coat pocket I would have had my hand on it and finger on the trigger because I knew what was going to happen. While it felt like hours I bet it was two minutes... but I knew. As the one with the knife pulled it, forcing me to freeze, I would have fired a round toward them through the fabric of my coat. They would have fled.
ReplyDeleteInstead I had to stand and get punched in the face and head without fighting back for fear of being stabbed. I lost my work bag and my phone. I also became afraid of people moving around behind me, of taking the train, of loud rowdy black teenagers. Had I fired a round through my coat as they went from walking to a few steps of a run they would have stopped. I would not have been attacked. I would not have had to be afraid, go to court, get hassled outside Grand and Central, etc, etc.
Now I'm a fully employed, tax paying, family man criminal w a hammerless, 5 shot .38 in my coat or my bag. The next time I won't be beaten and robbed. Hopefully I won't be a felon after I defend myself. But if it happens today I will. I will get will AUW and they got next to nothing. If there is a next time I'm not going to have to stand there and take a beating.
Btw about 3 months after I was attacked on that platform some white guy in his 20's stabbed the F out of some dudes who attacked him. I just tried to Google it but couldn't find it and have to be in a meeting at 11 so find it if you like...
I'm looking forward to not being a criminal if forced to protect myself. I'm late so I didn't even have a chance to read through this for typos so give this wall of text one big (sic)
