A North Side Chicago man is wanted for allegedly attacking his mother on Christmas day.
Around 2:08 p.m., an assault was reported from an Uptown neighborhood section-8 apartment building at 4848 North Winthrop Avenue... also known as Winthrop Towers.
According to police dispatch, a woman said her 18-year-old son kicked her in the stomach and fled the scene.
Investigators later identified the attacker as a black male named Joesph Gordon, born December 26, 1994, who is currently on probation for the unlawful use of a weapon.
Court documents show that back on July 27, 2012, Gordon was arrested for aggravated battery against a police officer.
Gordon is 5'6' to 5'9 and 120 to 140 lbs. If you see this character, please call the police.

Are all the social workers on "holiday" up there in Uptown today? If they were so compassionate and dedicated, they could have showed up with the po-po.

ReplyDeleteWhat is this site about? I have read several articles just trying to read some news on what is going on in the city and all I see are racist inhumane remarks on here. What's worse the site host actually jumps in to join the conversation as such.
What hateful people there are in the world that judge others without ever having knowledge of what really goes on in their lives. It's so sad that in 2013 we don't care enough about other people or life in general. The more and more we care less the closer and closer it will come into our own reality. I'm sorry but no one is exempt. Not even the "anonymous" individuals who troll this site speaking such words of hate. Continue with hate in your heart and your life may end as violently as the ones you condemn. The world is hurting right now. The youth are crying out for attention and guidance. Our society is a mess on ALL levels. From the rich to the middle class to the poor. Teens gunned down. People taking their own lives. Cookie cutter towns dealing with massacre. How heartless and HATEFUL do you have to be to not have an ounce of compassion for the loss of a human life? A youth at that? A+ student or a misguided one. It would seem that even if these kids were to want to help themselves there would be too many people like the ones on this site to discourage them to to do so. You wouldn't even give them a chance. Thank God there is a King on High that looks on low.
This site is irresponsible for allowing this to be a breeding ground for bullying and hatred. Isn't the news supposed to be unbiased? Get a conscience.
