21-year-old Zachary Robinson, an alleged Uptown resident from the 4500 block of North Sheridan Road, was arrested late Thursday night following a violent robbery in Chicago's Wrigleyville neighborhood... and it wasn't his first brush with the law.
On September 6, 2012, around 10:47 p.m., Robinson grabbed a woman's iPad and punched another woman on a CTA Red Line train at the Addison "L" stop at 940 West Addison Street, said police.
Afterwards, Robinson tried to escape on a skateboard, but he was quickly arrested on the 1100 block of West Waveland Avenue.
As of early Friday, Robinson was being held in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
Information obtained by Chicago News Report indicates the 21-year-old wild-haired suspect may be on his way to being a career criminal.
Records show Robinson was arrested back in April of 2012 and charged with retail theft, criminal code 720 ILCS 5/16A-13.
If these charges are true, it only took Robinson 5 months to go from retail theft to strong armed robbery and assault.
This is a male model in the making.
