2 suspects wanted for West Rogers Park iPhone theft, possible robbery

On Saturday, authorities were searching for two offenders in Chicago’s Far North Side West Rogers Park, West Ridge neighborhood.

Around 1:57 p.m., a victim was robbed of an iPhone on the 6900 block of North Western Avenue, between Lunt and Coyle Avenues, according to police dispatch reports.

The main offender was described as a black male, 25 to 30-years-old, approximately 5’9” and 160 pounds.

The thief, who has short black hair and was dressed in a black T-shirt and blue and white pajama pants, was last seen headed eastbound through a nearby alley.

The male suspect was in the company of a 17-year-old black female whose last name is Coleman, said police.

Investigators said Coleman was wearing a hot pink shirt made of jersey material.

Citing police communication, the female accomplice lives on the 2200 block of West Farwell Avenue.

At the time of this report, both suspects were still at large.
