The incident, which was reported around 6:36 p.m., occurred inside a second floor unit at the Clarendon Court Apartments, 4500 North Clarendon Avenue, said police.
Investigators said a 45-year-old black woman named Arleen Young, cut her 52-year-old ex-boyfriend and his 57-year-old current girlfriend during an altercation.
The female victim sustained a minor injury to her right hand and the male victim’s right forearm was similarly injured during the attack, said police.
At 6:53 p.m., Young was apprehended at 4657 North Malden Street.
Authorities also recovered a knife.
At the time of this report, police coded the incident as a “0420”, an aggravated battery with a knife or other cutting instrument.

DeleteUnfortunate as it may be, these violent incidents are taking place all over. We have become such an overly PC nation to the point where the media neglects to report on major criminal activity or leaves out pertinent information regarding certain criminal activities. As long as we turn the other cheek and pretend that everything is okay, things are just going to get worse and worse including race relations.
