On Thursday, June 7, 2012, around 12:32 a.m., a black male offender snatched a woman's iPhone near the intersection of 400 West Belmont Avenue and 3200 North Sheridan Road, on the city’s North Side, said police.
The thief, who was last seen running southbound on Sheridan Road, was wearing dark-colored clothing.
No further details are available.
Again, the "Boystown" boundaries seem to be being stretched by the minute.
ReplyDeleteI think there's a "newer" mostly Section 8 building in the direction he ran. I see them walking towards us when we get off the bus there after returning home from......WORK!
Rich fathers, reconsider where you're sending your daughters.
P.S. This isn't just Lakeview. Sh*t it's not even East Lakeview. It's the "fancier" area known as "Lakeview East" (which is better than, supposedly).
ReplyDeleteIf people don't know by now to pay less attention to their IPhones and more attention to the surroundings, they are just ignorant.
ReplyDeleteThere is an article on the Tribune website saying Chicago is number 1 in laptop thefts. I wonder if they consider smartphones and tablets to be "laptops"?
