3 arrests in West Rogers Park attempted robbery

Three offenders were arrested for an attempted robbery on Chicago’s Far North Side, said police.

At approximately 8:10 p.m., several suspects, identified as black male teenagers, attacked a man behind the West Rogers Park neighborhood CVS Pharmacy at 2825 West Devon Avenue, near Devon and Mozart, said police.

According to police dispatch reports, the victim said the teens tried to rob him.   

Shortly after the incident occurred, police stopped three possible suspects near Rosemont and California.

At 8:34 p.m., authorities said the victim identified the possible suspects as the teens who tried to rob him.

All three suspects were taken into police custody.

Unconfirmed reports indicate there may have been more than one victim and the teens may have attacked several people in the area.
