In the video, the suspect, who is accused of trying to steal a customer’s wallet, struck a cop in the face, grabbed a chair, smashed a window, and fled the scene through the shattered glass.
The offender’s so-called girlfriend was apprehended after she hopped through the window and tried to flee the scene, as well.
After leaving the restaurant, that appears to be located downtown, the suspect reportedly carjacked a vehicle with a baby inside and later abandoned the car on a busy expressway.
It’s unclear if the cop-beater/window-breaker is still at large.

And to the idiot who said, "what a maniac," you need to get a grip wench. That was HARDLY a maniac in action. BORING. And, what a fat lazy cop that was. His fellow cops are going to rip him a new one for looking like a straight punk on video. He is a total embarrassment to the uniform.
