Around 1:30 a.m., a North Side, Chicago man was allegedly robbed while walking home from the Red Line, according to an unconfirmed police dispatch report.
The victim, who reported the incident from his residence, said he was on his way home from the Granville “L” at 1119 West Granville, when the robbery occurred.
If that information is correct, it means the crime happened on Granville, somewhere between the train station and North Wayne Avenue.
According to police communications, the victim did not see the offender(s), but he felt an object in his back.
No further details are available.
