A man in his 20s was shot in the buttocks in Chicago’s troubled West Englewood neighborhood, said police.
Around 4:34 p.m., the shooting victim was walking on the 6800 block of South Paulina Street when a male black in a silver Pontiac Grand Am or a silver Pontiac Grand Prix got out and opened fired, said authorities.
After the shooting, witnesses said the gunman, who was wearing a dark blue sweatshirt with three white stripes on the sleeve, tan pants, and tan boots, drove westbound on West 68th Street, from South Paulina.
Shell casing where found at 6806 South Paulina Street, said police.
Apparently, the South Paulina Street shooting was second shooting in the area, today.

The victim probably could have run away and not been shot; however, one cannot run when his jeans are sagging around his knees.
ReplyDeleteI thought they had a gun ban in Chicago. That's why I moved here. I wanted to be safe.
ReplyDeleteKinda cool they got away in a GM car though. That 3800 engine push-rod design is fail proof. 140K miles on every one of them before having to replace, maybe, an alternator or spark plug wire or two.
They know "sumpthin'" down in da barrio. I'll hand 'em that.
