Police responded to a disturbance at the Inn at Lincoln Park, formerly the Comfort Inn, at 601 West Diversey Parkway, around 12:30 a.m.
Investigators identified the alleged offender as a male white named Donny Lyons.
Lyons is 37-years-old, about 6’2”, and 285 pounds, said police.
He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with a Run DMC t-shirt underneath.
At 12:55 a.m., police searched the area of Sheridan and Belmont, but there was indication they made contact with the supposed offender.
At the time of this report, the motive for the alleged assault wasn't immediately clear.
Wow...a white guy commits a crime and no one here chimes in with how it just proves that rap music jellied his brain and how anyway ALL white guys are no good and should all be jailed/killed/sterilized/shipped back to Western Europe.

ReplyDeleteWhite people who rob typically are wiggers, and possibly mental health agency trash. They have a community center not too far away from there where they congregate. After it closes they all disperse to Clark/Diversey/Broadway to beg for few hours.

ReplyDeleteNot all rap music is deragotory in nature. Along with some creativity, great producers and beats it can include some realistic, meaningful lyrics such as......"never take another man's life because you hate yours" or "apparently they're not parents".
ReplyDeleteP.S. Based on physical appearance and dress, I've been assumed to be a "Log Cabin Republican"......but I'm not.
Oh, and another one......"don't do it dog, it's just not worf it". That one has held me back many, many times (in this city anyway). But my Chicago native co-worker told me if something like that ever happens to me again, hubby and her would bail me out - "no problem"!
