Monday, at approximately 12:47 a.m., a driver lost control of his vehicle when he and one of his passenger was shot to death on the city’s Far North Side, said police.
Several citizens reported gunshots near the 7600 block of North Sheridan Road, near Sheridan and Jonquil Terrace, said authorities.
When police arrived, they found a car pinned against a tree and a passenger who was riding in the front of the car was lying on the ground.
The front seat passenger was shot in the abdomen, said police
The driver, who was shot on his left side, underneath his armpit, was trapped inside the car, said police.
A responding officer said the driver was unresponsive and wasn’t breathing.
Two passengers in the back of the car may have sustained minor injuries when the driver lost control. However, their alleged injuries were not confirmed.
Investigators said the motorist was turning southbound on Sheridan Road from Rogers Avenue when the shots were fired.
After the shooting, an eyewitness saw a green Astro van traveling southbound on North Sheridan Road.
The front seat passenger was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois, were he later died.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
UPDATE: Authorities have identified the victims as 26-year-old Dion Miller and 27-year-old Johnathan Bell.

It's an "inner ring" suburb, meaning that it borders 8 Mile Rd., and Detroit proper.

You know what else? The good black people in Southfield would NEVER stand for the nigger behavior we see all over Chicago. They would turn on those apes in a second, and shoot them with their CCW if threatened, and if not, turn them over to the cops as soon as they could.
*Interesting note: Southfield, which has one of the highest rates of registered firearm owners in the state, has only a slightly higher than average violent crime rate (just inder 1% higher, or 9.5 incidents per 1,000 people, than the national average). Also, a significant percentage of those happen along the 8 Mile corridor, which is adjacent to Detroit city, and I believe that it's proximity to Detroit skews the crime numbers upwards. What that tells me is, when normal responsible people are able to obtain and carry firearms, crime goes down. WAY down. I grew up in the next suburb over, and have been to Southfield literally thousands of times in my life. Never once have I felt threatened in any manner.
Nothing will get better until we decriminalize drug use. It is the number one reason gangs exist.

ReplyDeleteThe problem isn't race, it's class. The blacks that live near my parents & in-laws are just like them, upper middle class. A black MD married to a teacher moved in next to my parents a few years ago, they're great people & would be appalled by the behavior displayed by black teens in Chicago. The husband goes to my parents to watch U-M football games with my dad a lot (they are both Michigan grads, and my dad has a 120” projection HDTV), and he's spoken with us more than once about the problem black middle class people have with the black underclass.
Believe me, Southfield is still fine. The areas south of I-696 are getting a little sketchy, but again, my belief is that it's bad parts of Detroit creeping in. And again, the decent people in Detroit suburbs know how to point out to the cops the bad elements from Detroit.
If anything, Oakland County and specifically the Jewish communities (WB, FH, Bham, etc) are getting overrun with Chaldeans, who are Catholics from Iraq, aka, the people who LOST in the Crusades. But even they tend to be middle class, who just want to live a normal life & provide for their kids. They just recognize that us Jews build the best neighborhoods & school districts ;-)
Interesting note: In MI, there are schools of choice. Basically, if you don't like your school district you live in, you can choose other districts, as long as there are available seats. The Bloomfield Hills SD (best in the state, one of the tops in the country), was having a huge influx of kids from all over the three county Metro Detroit area, bc it's such a great district. People who live there were telling me close to 50% of students were from out of district. So what did they do? BH closed 4 of 8 grade schools, 2 of 4 junior high schools, and 1 of 2 high schools. Now the district is at 100% enrollment with just local kids, and doesn't have to take any outsiders!!!

ReplyDeleteNobody is disputing that all races have violent criminals. However, you are simply denying what is fact, and that is that blacks commit 500% to 600% more violent crime than all other races in Chicago, combined.
Secondly, you refuse to acknowledge the fact that the black communities in Chicago tend to protect and hide criminals in their midst, which the white & Asian communities don't do. Whites & Asians cooperate with police, turn in their own who commit crimes, and (here's a shocker) don't have nearly the same rates of violent crimes as black criminals.
Lastly, as previous posters have said (and as the mainstream news & other local blogs have hinted at), this violence was anything but random.
Just use common sense - people don't randomly stalk a vehicle in the middle of the night, and ambush & shoot the driver & passenger. This happened bc those two dead men were known gang members. The other gangs in that area felt threatened by them, and did what gangsters do - they violently murdered them.
People in your community know who did this, I'm certain of that. But guess who won't be cooperating with police to bring the shooters to justice? Black people. And that's not only the biggest shame of all, but what you should be most ashamed of with your people.
Chicago blacks - control your teens & 20 somethings. Raise your children. Stop accepting teens who aren't even in a relationship getting pregnant by emphasizing birth control. Teach your kids manners, respect, and educate them. Guess what will happen if you do that? Eventually, blacks will act like normal people.
