Police, along with the Chicago Fire Department, responded to a fire in Chicago’s West Ridge, West Rogers Park neighborhood early Thursday morning.
Around 4:06 a.m., a fire was reported at 7250 North Western Avenue.
An initial police dispatch report indicated smoke was coming from a basement apartment.
According to a responding officer, a chair caught fire.
At 4:40 a.m., an officer at the scene said there were no injuries or displacements.
