  1. 6:04 AM? Those ghetto thugs must have been wrapping up their crime shift.

  3. "Rain or shine, snow or sleet"...they sound like they're taking a cue from the USPS. Nothing stops these ghetto thugs.

  5. Towanda- I noticed the "late" time (for them) too, seems like these reports are usually 3-4 am.

Which is scary bc a ton of professionals that work in the loop get there around 6 am, and the expectation is that the ghetto thugs have wrapped up their "work" for the night & gone home to sleep until 3-4 pm by that time.

If business people, attorneys, traders, etc start getting jacked in the early AM hours, I hope the shit hits the fan.

It's not that I don't care about super late night clubbers getting jacked at 4 am when they're all fucked up, it's that I care a lot more when I hear about business people getting jacked at that hour - because I'm one of them.

Thank goodness I live in Streeterville & can just take the 29 State bus downtown. They tend to stay off the busses.

  6. Big Al,
It's true, they do tend to stay off buses because they're cowards and there's strength in numbers on the buses. It's the main reason we do not take the redline unless we absolutely have to.
Of course, if they continue to rob the working class and they're called out on it, they will scream racism and profiling like they always do. Case in point, the flash mobs on Michigan Ave. They started screaming they were being profiled..DUH!
Seems the only people who have to be civil and act "nice" are the innocent law abiding taxpaying citizens. The ghetto thugs? They get to act like animals preying on their next victim!

Just read an article about the Florida Governor who stated he's closing some prisons because violent crime is at a 40 year low...they do have cancel carry there so I'm wondering if they're coming where the pickin's are easy..HERE!

  8. "An armed society is a polite society". I hate guns but until living in Shitcago, that statement makes absolute sense.

Manners abounds in Detroit and Texas.

Exactly, look at Israel. Every person at age 18 must join the army, even if physically disabled (there are lots of desk jobs). While in the military for a minimum of 2 years, the soldiers MSUT carry their weapons at all times, even when out socially.

Combine that with the fact that virtually every home has a handgun & assault rifle, and that all professional drivers (bus, taxi, delivery, etc) MUST carry a handgun, and you have a country with one of the lowest rates of violent crime in the world. And virtually NO breaking & entering type crime.
