Rogers Park: Woman robbed at gunpoint for $15

A North Side, Rogers Park neighborhood woman was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday evening. The thief stole $15, said police.

Around 9:10 p.m., a female victim was mugged on the 7500 block of North Damen Avenue, said authorities.

Investigators said a male offender, armed with a small black handgun, approached the woman and demanded her money.

The petty thief was described as a male black in his 20s, about 5’8”, with a slim build.

The North Side robber, who was wearing all black clothing, was last going eastbound on Birchwood from Damen, said authorities. 

On December 5, two male blacks in their 20s robbed a man at gunpoint on the 2000 block of West Chase Avenue.
