  1. Hotel Chateau is filled with trash from enabling social service agencies. They contribute virtually NOTHING to society and yet the social workers are all full of puppies, kittens and rainbows about them.

  2. Wasn't too long ago there was another domestic stabbing in the good old Chateau. There needs to be far more regulations on these privately owned SRO's. They are mostly filled with drug users and drug dealers. Not to mention alcoholics. There are some decent and deserving people who truly are in need of these type of facilities but over all criminals, felons, dealers, prostitutes, drunks and drugs abound. The landlords take the money and run without fixing these places up. Many of them are fire hazards and rat traps and the "rent" is not cheap if you aren't connected to an organization that picks up most of your rent. The city needs to start holding these landlords accountable as well. They shut down the Diplomat for too many code violations to mention and the same person owns the Chateau. He's a slumlord! I'm just saying...

  3. Of course he is Black. I remember when I used to live near the Hotel Chateau. What a POS building! Why is that place still open? They need to tear it down and build luxury condos. It attracts a lot of Black people and is driving property valued down even more. UGH.
