Unconfirmed report: Man bitten during attempted robbery in Uptown
I’m not sure if police made contact with this alleged victim, or if his story is true, but here’s what happened.
Police were called to the Uptown, Wilson CTA train station at 4620 North Broadway around 3:30 a.m.
A third party 911 caller said he was at the North Side "L" stop with a male victim of an attempted robbery.
The alleged offenders were described as two male blacks.
One suspect was wearing a black hat and a black jacket, said the 911 caller.
The purported thieves were last seen going eastbound on Wilson Avenue.
Around 3:33 a.m., during a second 911 call, the victim stated the alleged offenders tried to wrestle his cell phone away from him.
In the midst of the scuffle, one the attackers reportedly bit him.
However, according to one source, the supposed victim refused medical services.
No further details are available regarding this alleged crime.

"Refused medical attention?" Is he nuts. Animals can have rabies. Not to mention aids, hepatitis and any number of bacteria. What an idiot!
ReplyDeleteWilson & Broadway needs to be sprayed with an insecticide!
If a stranger bit me, you won't have to ask me if I wanted medical treatment.
ReplyDeleteUmmmm, Its highly unlikely that you would contract H.I.V. by being bitten.
ReplyDeleteDuh..I know that BUT you never know what comes out of the mouth of ghetto thugs! Notice I said "animals can have rabies?"....wasn't a furry animal that bit this victim...
ReplyDeleteI get what you're saying and perhaps that was a bit misleading..the aids thing:)
