Report: Older man who accepted ride from younger women, robbed

A man who was in Chicago for an energy convention, was beaten and robbed after getting into a car with two unknown females, said police.

According to information obtained by Chicago News Report, on August 9, 2011, at 2:13 a.m., a 54-year-old white male got into a vehicle with two black females, believed to be 25 to 30-years-old.

Investigators said the female offenders approached the man on the 300 block of East Illinois Street and offered him a ride to his hotel on the 500 block of North Michigan Avenue.

Once the complainant was inside the vehicle, one of the women repeatedly punched him in the face and struck him in the head with a blunt object, said authorities.

The female thieves stole the man’s credit card, said police.

According to the narrative in the police report, the women were driving a tan, older model, 4-door Chevy Malibu.

An ambulance on scene treated the victim for minor injuries.

On September 13, 2011, Wilbert Allen, an 80-year-old retired Chicago police detective, was beaten and robbed by several women in Englewood.

Allen was viciously attacked near an alley on the 6900 block of South Parnell Avenue.

Neighbors found the elderly man bleeding on the street.

Although it isn’t clear what happened, one report indicated Allen was assaulted after he offered the women a ride.

Question: Why do men underestimate how dangerous some women can be?

  1. 300 E. Illinois?

Great, I live a block east of there, on McClurg at Illinois.

Of course, I wouldn't be accepting a ride, much less speaking with, schfartzas in the middle of the night, there or anywhere else.

THINK, PEOPLE, BEFORE GETTING INTO A CAR WITH TOTAT STRANGERS!! ESPECIALLY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!!!!!

A little part of me wonders if he thought they were prostitutes . . .
