Around 12:45 a.m., a woman was robbed at gunpoint on the 2300 block of North Halsted Street, near Belden and Halsted, said police.
Two male Hispanics in the 20s, with dark complexions, pulled a weapon and stole several items from the victim, said authorities.
The offenders fled the scene in a silver or gray, two-door Pontiac Grand Prix.
The getaway car was last seen headed eastbound toward Lake Shore Drive.

Another prime example of ghetto thugs lacking humanity. Hopefully the CPD will catch & arrest this parasite too! Send them all to jail/prison and I don't care if they have to sleep 2 to a bunk because of overcrowding.

ReplyDeleteWhat's with all these gunpoint robberies lately? Someone get a new shipment? I refuse to change my night schedule because of these thugs. Stay vigilant, and don't carry cell phones in your hands - keep them concealed, a phone call is not worth becoming a victim.

ReplyDeleteGuns ARE legal to own and have in the State of Illinois--it is only in the City of Chicago where it is illegal for ordinary citizens to have guns. Only the bad guys do, and the bad guys absolutely KNOW, and play to this reality!
