Woman’s purse stolen in Lakeview
Three blocks west of where a man was stabbed Saturday morning, a woman was robbed in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood, said police.
Around 3:30 a.m., three Hispanic men took a woman’s purse on the 1000 block of West Belmont, near Belmont and Seminary Avenues, said authorities.
The suspects fled the scene northbound on Seminary Avenue in a silver SUV with the license plate L407421, said investigators.
It’s unclear if a weapon was used during the robbery.
At approximately 4:13 a.m., a man walking home from a Lincoln Park neighborhood store, was approached by a Hispanic man with a gun at Wrightwood and Halsted.
The complainant said the suspect was with two other Hispanic men and they were driving a silver car.
According to police dispatch, the offenders did not rob the man.
