According to a FOX Chicago News report, police moved in and quickly squashed a minor altercation at the beach.
"It was just kids getting rowdy. One guy says something, another guy says something, the cops walked over there and they left on their own pretty much, so they handled it just fine,” said eyewitness Chris McIntyre to FOX News.
On Memorial Day, May 30, 2011, North Avenue Beach was suspiciously closed due to the heat, while other city beaches remained opened.
According to several Chicago News Report sources, North Avenue Beach was closed because there were large gangs of black teenagers causing trouble.
"It was only a matter of time before something really bad happened. There were large gangs of black teens everywhere. They were starting fights and behaving in an intimidating fashion," said an insider who asked not to be identified. "The cops were stretched to their limit and there was no way to effectively manage that crowd," said the tipster. "Closing North Avenue Beach was the only thing they could," concluded the informant.

Many people are out of jobs but they don't go around acting like animals, preying on innocent people, starting fights or shooting each other and everyone else. Why is it that everyone else is to blame for the behavior of uneducated, undisciplined and ignorant people? Try looking in the mirror!

Compared with the rest of society, this is a small contingent of Americans making life miserable for the rest of us. If something isn't done, if this issue isn't addressed openly, the damage may be far too great to repair. There are people waiting in the wings, salivating and hoping there's going to be war, they are just as nuts as these kids.

At 9:18 p.m., a 28-year-old man was critically shot in his head and back as he was walking in the 4200 block of South Lake Shore Drive, according to a release from police News Affairs.He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
ReplyDeleteAt 10:50 p.m. in the East Garfield Park neighborhood, a 30-year-old man was shot multiple times in the 3900 block of West Van Buren Street, the release said. A person was taken in serious condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, according to a Fire Media Affairs spokesman.
About 11 p.m. in the Englewood neighborhood, two men were playing dice in the 6500 block of South Justine Street when an attacker emerged from a gangway and fired shots, wounding both of them, a release said. A 22-year-old man was shot in his back and buttocks and a 24-year-old man was shot in the hand.
One was taken in serious condition to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County and another went to Holy Cross Hospital, the Fire Media Affairs spokesman said.
At 11:06 p.m. in the Gresham neighborhood, two men were outside standing at a corner in the 7900 block of South Laflin Street when they were shot. A 25-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to his back and a 29-year-old man was shot in his thigh, the release said.
The 25-year-old was listed in stable condition at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn and the 29-year-old was listed in stable at Stroger, the release said.
No one was in custody for any incident and area detectives were investigating.

ReplyDeleteThere seems to be, in my opinion, a disproportionately high amount of blacks working at my second job.
Imagine a group of young black youth trying to get your attention by calling out "hey, cracker". When one came closer I asked if he just called me cracker. He said "no, that was him". I said "no, that was your voice, get out". They couldn't have been more than 13 years old.
I've never been called "cracker" or "whitey" in Detroit in my 40+ years.
You've got serious further problems coming up Chicago, when these lil hoodrats get a little older if they're not corrected by then. I believe that's highly unlikely.
