Here's a short clip memorializing last Monday's crowd at North Avenue Beach, 1600 North Lake Shore Drive.
Unfortunately, the twenty-five-seconds-long video did not capture the gangs and flash mobs that reportedly forced the city to close North Avenue Beach, and ruin everyone's lakefront, Memorial Day fun.

Looks like some kind of vehicle to the far left..ambulance perhaps? Why would that vehicle be parked right there? Hmmmm
ReplyDeleteIt's obvious to me that the CPD dropped the ball. Thousands of people there and what, they were thinking everyone would behave? Hahahahahaha
its a news van if you look closely
ReplyDeleteYeah, that's a news van! A lot of hot body chicks on the beach. I wonder if any black thugs not only was wilding there, but also trying to 'cop a feel'.
ReplyDeleteThanks eman:)
ReplyDeleteSkokie, kind of a disgusting comment. You might just be the only person looking at this video who thought that. Congratulations...not.
Towanda, what part of my comment was disgusting? Was it the part where I said there are some hot body chicks on the beach (jealous, are you?)? Or, was it the part where I said I wonder if the black thugs there were trying to cop a feel?
ReplyDeleteI'm not saying I would do such a thing at all, but if my memory serves me correctly, I remember there were numerous reports of women being groped on at the Taste of Chicago by hoodlums passing by.
That's why I said that. Don't be so bitter! Hit the gym, and maybe you will feel comfortable at the beach too. =)
Actually Skokie, I'm perfectly happy with myself, not jealous and I don't do the beach because of melanoma. "coping a feel" was the disgusting part..why put that out there? Why give them the idea? Why reduce women to "hot chicks" and "coping a feel"??? You seem way smarter than that:)
ReplyDeleteTowanda, I understand! I wish nothing but the best for you and your condition. =)
ReplyDeleteThe "coping a feel" part by black thugs and perverted men is an issue amongst huge outdoor gatherings in Chicago such as a hot day at the beach, Lollapalooza, Taste of Chicago, etc... I was just saying something that is/could be obvious in which I meant no disrespect.
The "hot chicks' part, well... not sure if there's much to explain there. Just because I live on the Northside does not mean that I'm NOT into women. LOL! I am a 100% straight male and hot female beach bodies will catch my eye, no matter what. No disrespect intended there either.
What's the appeal of roasting in the sun again?
ReplyDeleteSkokie, it's all good. No worries:)
ReplyDeleteC.P., burnt skin isn't appealing or sexy. When one hits his/her forties, that burnt skin resembles scrambled eggs scraped from a skillet. Gross!
