Lincoln Park: Woman reportedly beaten, robbed on Fullerton Ave.
A woman was allegedly attacked and robbed in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood.
The alleged incident occurred around 2:49 a.m.
Although it isn't clear where the purported crime took place, police met the alleged victim on the 1200 block of West Fullerton Avenue near Fullerton and Surrey Court.
According to police dispatch, a male black offender beat the woman, stole a large amount of cash, and her credit cards.
The mugger was last seen running westbound on Fullerton, said one report.
No further details were provided.
