Guardian Angels chase purse snatcher on the Red Line

The details are sketchy, but here’s what I know.

Around 8:50 p.m., a woman’s purse was snatched.

According to police dispatch, the Guardian Angels were following the crook on a southbound Red Line train.

At the time, the train had just passed the Grand subway station at 521 North State Street.

At 8:56 p.m., a Chicago police sergeant and several members of the Guardian Angels were assembled at the intersection of State and Lake Streets.

It’s unclear if the purse thief was caught.

If you witnessed this crime, feel free to add more details in the comments section.
