21-year-old Ashley Nicole Steele is accused of killing 40-year-old Derrick Gray, because he allegedly gave her a STD.
According to Chicago Breaking News, on February 4, 2011, Steel, an alleged prostitute, went to Gray's home on the 8200 block of South Langley, purportedly looking for a little pay-to-play action.
But something went horribly wrong.
Once inside the man's South Side Chatham apartment, Steele and Gray reportedly engaged in a verbal confrontation. When Gray went to the bathroom, Steele produced a gun and shot Gray through his bathroom door - striking him in the head, said police.
Gray was pronounced dead at the scene.
Tuesday, April 5, 2011, Steele was charged with first-degree murder.
NOTE: I must point out that there are several holes in this story. The CBN article doesn't make it clear if Steele and Gray saw each other prior to February 4th -- I'm guessing they had. Because if Steele was upset about possibly contracting an STD from Gray, I doubt she made that discovery the same day Gray was shot and killed. Furthermore, if Steele is really a lady-of-the-evening, she could have picked up a "lovely parting gift" from anywhere!

Sad story. I suspect she wasn't a prostitute, but a young woman engaging in sex with a older man on a regular basis. When I overhear these aging goats talking, they really haven't matured past 25 mentally to assuming maturity. The ego and lust is ruling and ruining lives. It is sad this young woman will live her life in prison over a bad choice which could have been corrected

ReplyDeleteIt must have been more to there relationship. The people who wrote this article don't know the whole truth, it's stated above in there comments. It's bad she took the law in her own hands but would the law prosecute him if she'd went to them? No! Lady of the night, maybe? You must know who you're going to be sexually active with and ask the life changing questions, when was you tested and i want to see the paper work, and be ready to show yours. Condoms burst and no method of protection is 100% protection. This lady did what a lot of people want to do that was given a STD. And as for old goats, we all will be old one day, if we live long enough. And i'm a 30 year old person.
