Never thought I'd find myself feeling suspicious and anxious around black males, but these days I do. Very sad.

Have to agree with the comments. Seems like the north side is turning into the south side now. They ruined their south side neighborhoods so now these ghetto thugs are moving to the north side to ruin it. Nice. WTF will they do when there is white flight and no taxpayer money to support them? That's what happened in Detroit. What will they do when their are no white people in the city to rob? SUFFER comes to mind. I'm to the point where my head is spinning around looking over my shoulder....the Exorcist comes to mind..

ReplyDeleteYour comments are very discriminatory, but I respect your freedom of speech. I must tell you that the only white flight is from the suburbs to the city. There is to much money in the city and whites dont run from money. The amount of crime in the city now amongst "ghetto thugs" is no different then it has been for the past 4 decades. This type of crime was concentrated in the projects. Your city government chose to tear down the projects, thus creating gentrification. Now these same crimes that were going on in the projects, is now going on in other areas. Opposing gangs have been displaced citywide. Our problems stem from lack of education and economic disparities. Now those who have never lived in the ghetto, are getting a taste of what low income blacks have been dealing with for decades. Maybe now people will wake up!
Towanda....What happened in Detroit is nothing like this nor was the current state of Detroit caused by "Whites" fleeing Detroit cause they were scared of the Black Man mugging.

I don't see read or hear about groups of white kids robbing, beating and shooting people..do you? If you think for one minute I'm going to welcome these GHETTO THUGS with open arms, you're mistaken and would prefer they stay in their own neighborhood. Should we just hand over our high tech items and our money as soon as we see them coming? Are we supposed to be happy to support their loser asses with our hard earned taxpayer money? Gimme a break. Do you like living around GHETTO THUGS? Do you feel safe in your neighborhood when the GHETTO THUGS come around? We need to stop with the "PC" mentality and admit we're ALL fed up with the GHETTO THUGS!

Anonymous, "lack of education and economic disparities" are used as excuses. During the Great Depression, "everyone" was poor. However, public safety was NOT the concern that is now. Regardless of hue, free will is the culprit, not the same, tired sociology excuses.

ReplyDeleteAs far as the suburbs go, I don't care about the suburbs and what goes on there simply because I do not live there and it does not affect me. I care about what goes on in my city and how that affects where I LIVE.
Rudy, I couldn't agree with you more. There is poverty in many many towns across this country and I doubt the citizens resort to violence like the ghetto thugs do here. Fatherless kids who probably have absentee mothers, lack of education and guidance, lack of respect for human life, drugs, sex, these are the foundations for these ghetto thugs. Society gives & gives & gives while they take & take & take all the while screaming it's never enough. I believe ANY ONE can rise above their environment IF they choose too. Sadly, it's easier to steal from the very society who supports them than to try and better themselves. MLK WOULD BE ASHAMED!
