I live in Rogers Park, right on Sheridan, my husband and I were woken up by the gunshots. It's scary how bad the crime has gotten.
ReplyDeleteI am so sick of this shit! I am really fed up with these hoodlums taking over our streets!
ReplyDeleteMy girlfriend lives around there. God help the ignorant piece of human filth who puts my loved ones in harms way...
ReplyDeleteThey can re-gentrify all they want but the criminal element in Rogers Park will never go away and is aways prowling around. Several years ago, A Loyola student, walking through the park by the beach, was sexually assaulted and there have been other incidents there that don't make the mainstream media news. Sure wouldn't want Loyola parents to freak out now. One summer, the thugs even burned the lifeguard perches just for "fun".
ReplyDeleteCome 1 mile south of Pratt & Sheridan and the WHOLE mentality changes...for the better! I hate to visit friends there. It's scary and I am on guard there. It's too bad because there are some great building in Rogers Park and the price is right.
