Early morning stabbing in South Chicago neighborhood

At 1:55 a.m., a 911 caller indicated several people had been stabbed in a Far South Side community.

According to police dispatch reports, the incident occurred at 9022 South Houston Avenue in Chicago's South Chicago neighborhood.

Although initial reports suggested several people were injured, only one victim was confirmed to have been stabbed.

Police identified the victim as male and said he was going to be "alright".

A motive for the attack, as well as a description of the attacker, were not provided by authorities.

It's unclear if any arrests were made.
