Robbery: Chicago NW Side Portage Park Neighborhood

According to authorities, two thieves robbed a man on Chicago’s northwest side.

The robbery was reported around 6:30 p.m. and occurred near the intersection of North Lamon Avenue and West Hutchinson Street.

That puts the crime scene in the area of 4900 West Hutchinson Street.

The robbery victim described one of the offenders as a Hispanic man in his twenties, approximately 6-feet-tall and 180 lbs. The offender was last seen wearing a three-quarter length jacket and black leather gloves.

The victim wasn’t able to described the second suspect.

The crooks stole a briefcase and a billfold containing an undisclosed amount of money from the complainant.
