Man Injured in Robbery Attempt at NW Side Home

A Chicago man suffered minor injuries after he was attacked during an attempted robbery.

The crime happened around 7:30 p.m. in the area of 5800 North Kimball; near the intersection of Kimball and Ardmore Avenues.

Based on information obtained by Chicago News Report, the robbery and assault occurred in front of the victim’s northwest side home.

An African-American woman and an African-American man, believed to be 20 to 30-years-old, assaulted the man and tried to gain entry into the male victim’s home.

During the struggle, the victim received a cut on his forehead.

The male suspect was wearing a black hat and a brown jacket. The female offender was wearing a dark-colored jacket with a hood.
