Robbery: CTA 35th Street Red Line Station

Around 6:07 p.m., a robbery occurred at a south side CTA Red Line “L” station.

The crime happened on the platform of the Sox–35th street "L" stop at 142 West 35th Street.

According to the victim, three African-American men were involved in the robbery. All three suspects were wearing black clothing and black jackets.

One offender was wearing a black jacket with a red stripe.

Police did not provide information on what was stolen from the victim.

    Timothy, here's an idea. Is it possible to gather all the articles you've put on here about the crimes being committed on the CTA trains? We could send them to the CTA in the hopes that seeing it in print, ALL of them, may motivate the CTA to provide better security. What do you think? At this point and with ALL the crimes being committed on the trains, we have NOTHING to lose. Doesn't matter if I don't take the trains..for that reason, but it might light a fire under their asses..

    Sure. I will create an article with links to the CTA crimes I reported last year and this year. Great idea!
