A robbery occurred at the Red Line Wilson “L” station at 4620 North Broadway Street in Uptown.
The robbery was reported at 6:28 p.m.
The thief was described as an African-American man, 20 to 30-years-old, 5’6” to 5’8”, approximately 200 lbs, with a clean-shaven head. The offender was last seen wearing a black leather jacket.
The complainant said the thief snatched a cell phone and fled the scene southbound via a Red Line train from the Wilson "L" station.

If I were people, I would go the extra distance to avoid that stop at ALL costs. It's nothing but trouble, everyday all the time. The extra time may save your valuables and your life.
ReplyDeleteWhen I lived in Uptown, I stopped riding the trains all together. I'd rather take the bus or a cab.
