Not very far from the "red line robbery" yesterday. Maybe they went back for more? Kinda weird that there have been 2 robberies in that area 2 nights in a row. Maybe it's another "Rosco" and the area is being stalked?
ReplyDeleteI know it's hard to change old habits, but people need to keep their phones in their pockets, where thieves can't see them, or snatch them!
ReplyDeleteAnd woman should stop leaving their ID and credit cards in their purses.
Early this morning, a resident in Lakeview told police he overheard a conversation between two suspected thieves. The men were rummaging through a purse in an alley. One of the men said, "Hey, man! Check the make-up case! Women hide money in there!"
We were at a Caps meeting one time and the Captain came right out and said "don't sit by the exit doors using your IPAD, IPHONE, IPOD or laptop. They know when the next stop is coming and plan to grab & run perfectly". Pretty good advice I'd say.
