I read an article the other day that said the IPHONE is better than robbing a bank because people keep ALL their personal info on them...checking accounts, charge card info, addresses, phone numbers, SS info. So that seems to be the reason for the rash of thefts for the IPHONE or at least a major part of the reasons.
ReplyDeleteTechnology is a great thing, but people need to think twice before they store all their personal information in a phone or put that information online.
ReplyDeleteA recently saw a commercial where cell phone user can hook up their home alarm system to their cell phones. I'm sorry, but that is dumbest thing I have EVER heard!
I'll ditto that one too! What's that saying "stupid is as stupid does" or something like that. Commercials send a message to the criminals about what MIGHT be on those phones and blackberry's. Very irresponsible of the advertising agencies because that's exactly what they're doing "advertising"..to criminals!
ReplyDeleteLet's not forget the app that allows you to start your car with your cell phone! I'm sure the carjackers love that one!
ReplyDelete"Technology is a great thing"...in the right hands:)
