Around 2:49 a.m., a man was shot on the 4200 block of West Division Street in Chicago’s West Humboldt Park neighborhood. The official address given by police was 4207 West Division Street.
It appears the victim may have been sitting in a 1994 Honda when the shots where fired.
I am unsure which part of the victim‘s body was struck by gunfire, but an officer said the bullet “went through and through”.
Unconfirmed police dispatch reports indicated the victim was shot multiple times and at least once in the chest.
The victim was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital. An officer on the scene described the man's condition as "good".

Are these shootings of people sitting in cars gang related? There seem to be a lot of them lately.
ReplyDeleteNot too far from this crime, someone was stabbed while sitting in a car. I think it was domestic related.
