This evening, 911 was flooded with reports of a fight on a downtown Chicago street.
Around 6:30 p.m., several people reported a brawl near the intersection of East Washington Street and South Wabash Avenue. Some 911 callers said the melee was on State and Washington, others said the fight was on Michigan and Washington.
A reliable source indicated the actual location of the event was 55 East Washington in front of the International Cultured Pearl jewelry store.

Seems to be more instances with cabs lately. Cabs hitting storefronts, cabs running over people. cab drives getting beat up, cab drivers getting in "brawls" with customers..what the hell is going on here? Gees, next thing we're gonna hear about is the CTA conductor on the trains and the bus drivers fighting with passengers.
