Woman’s Purse Stolen at Uptown Subway Restaurant

Thieves apparently walked away with a customer’s purse at the Subway sandwich shop at 5062 North Sheridan Road, in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood.

The sticky-fingered bandits were described as two African-American men and a African-American woman.

All three suspects are believed to be 18 to 20-years-old.

Both of the male suspects were wearing black coats. However, one of the men was wearing a black, white, and red knitted hat. The female suspect was wearing a pink hat.

Police say the stolen purse, described as a black leather handbag, contained cash and a passport.
