There are some really desperate people out there.
Around 2:52 p.m., in broad day light, a victim was robbed near the intersection of North Leavitt Street and West Shakespeare Avenue, in Chicago's Bucktown neighborhood.
The thief stole a box of Cheez-It and $30.00.
The apparently famished offender, was described as an African-America man in his twenties. He is approximately 5’8”, 150 lbs, and clean shaven. He was last seen wearing a black knitted hat, a black winter jacket, and dark jeans.
Police say the suspect fled the scene westbound on Shakespeare Avenue towards Western Avenue.
