This morning, around 9:05 a.m., a high school student was robbed at gunpoint on the 3200 block of North Major Avenue. The victim is a student at the Notre Dame High School for Girls at 3115 North Mason Avenue.
Police say the shameless thief stole a PSP Player and $3.00 from the student.
The offender was described as an African-American man wearing a black, pull-over hoodie with a green shirt underneath. He was also wearing white gym shoes with black stripes on the sides. The thief is said to be about 20-years-old, approximately 5’2”, and 200 to 250 lbs.
According to the robbery victim, the short, portly man displayed a black and silver semiautomatic handgun and fled the scene westbound via an alley behind a nearby IHOP.
