Man Bitten and Beaten by Boyfriend in Lakeview

A Lakeview man became the victim of domestic violence, when his boyfriend assaulted him and bit him.

According to the complainant, he sustained bite marks all over his body. Police described the man’s injuries more modestly; as bite wounds on both arms and a slash on his face.

The incident occurred around 8:05 a.m. on the 3600 block of North Broadway, in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood.

The offender was described as a White man, with a medium build, and wearing a dark shirt and dark jeans. His hair was “slicked back" and there was cut on his nose.

Police say the suspect fled the crime scene southbound on Broadway.

I don’t usually print domestic related crimes, but I thought this story was significant, because we seldom focus on LGBT domestic violence issues.

NOTE: I want to applaud the police officers for handling this case respectfully.
