High-Speed Car Chase Through Austin Neighborhood, 1 Arrested

12:59 a.m. --- Police responding to a “person with a gun” call,  were lead on a high-speed car chase through Chicago’s Austin neighborhood.

The suspect was allegedly involved in an armed robbery on the 4900 block West Ferdinand Street, which is located between Ferdinand St. and Lavergne Ave. and Ferdinand St. and Lemon Ave.

After tailing the offender through many twists and turns, officers stopped the vehicle at 4539 West Monroe, where the suspect was arrested.

A weapon was recovered at 4927 West Monroe.
