Attempted Car Theft in Wicker Park

Police are looking for a suspect wanted for attempted auto theft in Wicker Park.

Around 12:30 a.m., authorities were called to the 1300 block of North Hoyne Avenue to investigate a failed car theft.

The offender was described as a Hispanic man, wearing a black hat with white letters on it. He was last seen running southbound on Hoyne Avenue.

According to Everyblock Chicago, a website that tracks neighborhood crimes,  a car was stolen on October 25, 2010, from the 1400 block of North Paulina Street and on October 26, 2010, a vehicle was taken from the 1500 block of Western Avenue.
