Dan Ryan Car Accident: Woman Killed Near Bridgeport

Around 12 a.m., a woman lost control of her vehicle on the Dan Ryan Expressway (I-94) and slammed into a concrete barrier near West 26th Street, in Chicago’s Bridgeport neighborhood.

According to Chicago Breaking News, the woman was driving a Chrysler Pacifica and going about 40 m.p.h., when the fatal, one-car accident occurred.

Investigators say speed and weather conditions were not to blame for the accident, and the 34-year-old woman was wearing her seat belt.
