The car slammed into the back of the fire engine around 1 a.m. near the Dan Ryan Expressway exit at South Lafayette Avenue and West 71st Street.
Both fire fighters were listed in good condition. The driver of the car is in critical condition.

Car Hits Fire Truck on Dan Ryan; 2 Fire Fighters, 1 Motorist Injured
The car slammed into the back of the fire engine around 1 a.m. near the Dan Ryan Expressway exit at South Lafayette Avenue and West 71st Street.
Both fire fighters were listed in good condition. The driver of the car is in critical condition.
