On November 13, 2010, three juveniles stole a pizza from a 50-something-year-old woman in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood. The robbery occurred around 8:24 p.m., on the 1200 block of West Leland Avenue.
Police say the crooks' weapon of choice was a BB gun.
One of the offenders was described as a short, African-American man wearing a black jacket. A description of the other two offenders was not available.
After the robbery, all three suspects fled eastbound towards Broadway.
At 8:32 p.m., police stopped three boys at 1007 West Leland Avenue. The suspects were detained, pending a positive identification by the victim.
So far, no charges have been announced.
