2 People Robbed at CTA Ashland/Lake Street Station

Around 8 p.m., two CTA passengers were robbed on the Green Line. The robberies occurred at the Ashland/Lake Street “L” station at 1601 West Lake Street, which also services the Pink Line.

According to police, one robbery victim’s wallet was stolen. The proceeds taken from the second robbery victim were not disclosed.

As of 8:56 p.m., the crime scene had been processed and no arrests had been made.
