Woman Raped, Police Called to Wilson Red Line Station

This morning, a CTA employee called police after a woman was raped.

I am not sure when the sexual assault occurred, but the CTA employee’s 911 call hit dispatch around 6 a.m.

Based on what I’ve learned, the victim was waiting for police inside the Wilson “L” station, located at 4620 N. Broadway, in Chicago‘s Uptown neighborhood.

According to a female officer on the scene, the woman was not raped at the station, but at another location.

The victim was described as a 34-year-old woman. She was taken to Weiss Memorial Hospital for medical attention.

No additional information was available.
