Every time I hear this terminology used, I cringe. I often wonder how the officer making this crude reference would feel, if the body being “snatched” belong to someone they loved.
This morning, a police dispatcher warned an officer not to use that verbiage, when requesting body removal services on the citywide police frequency.
"Please don't use that term when requesting removal services. It won't go over well on citywide," she advised.
