Megan Duskey, Killed in Fall at Palmer House Hotel

The 23-year-old woman who fell to her death, while attending a Halloween party at the Palmer House Hotel, has been identified as Megan Duskey of Crete, Illinois.

As stated in my initial report, Duskey fell after attempting to slide down the banister of a four-story staircase, that leads to the Palmer House Hotel ballroom.

According to WGN, the Halloween party Duskey attended was shut down due to safety concerns. There were several reports of heavily intoxicated people at the gathering.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Megan's family, friends, and loved ones.

    I just stayed at the palmer house and I was scared knowing somebody died there.I do not know Megan but she seems nice. I WAS looking for the staircase but could not find it. I would hate to have lost her she looks nice.sorry this happened.
