Richard A. Sikora, Accused of Setting North Center Garbage Can Fires

On October 19, 2010, Chicago News Report broke the story about an alleged arsonist who set multiple garbage can and dumpster fires in Chicago's North Center neighborhood. You can ready my initial report by clicking HERE.

Police have named 19-year-old Richard A. Sikora as the arsonist responsible for setting those fires.

As stated in my previous report, fires were set in the allies near West Grace and North Leavitt Street; West Byron Street and North Hoyne Ave.; and on the 3800 block of North Bell Ave.

The 19-year-old is facing some very serious charges. Which include, felony arson and misdemeanor criminal property damage charges.

  1. Neither of your reports have any mention of the fires that were set in the alley between 1300 block or W. Eddy and Addison, where there were multiple fires there and 3 different fires on 3 different night in the same spot. Along with multiple fires in the alley between 1300 block of W. Eddy and W. Cornelia where there were trash can fires and a garage.
